I currently serve as an assistant professor in the Department of Leadership Studies at Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ - Shreveport. I was recently appointed as interim Chair for the Department of Leadership Studies and interim Program Director for the Doctor of Education in Leadership Studies. I retired as a lieutenant with the Louisiana State Police in 2020 and have 28 years of combined law enforcement experience. I am also a retired field-grade Army National Guard officer, which included numerous deployments worldwide. In addition to my doctorate, I hold a Master of Science Degree and an M.B.A. Before my appointment as an assistant professor, I was an adjunct instructor at LSUS and an adjunct for the Louisiana State Police, where I taught leadership. My expertise includes law enforcement leadership, emergency management, and military leadership. My academic training also provides a solid background in business leadership as well as higher education leadership. In addition to instructing at LSUS, I have also taught change management to newly appointed Air Force squadron commanders.
